Gazprom plans to launch the construction of Vladivostok LNG for two billion dollars in 2020, with a project capacity of 1.5 million tons, according to a presentation by Alexander Gladkov, Director of the Oil and Gas Production and Transportation Department of the Russian Ministry of Energy, as part of his speech at Sakhalin Oil and Gas Conference.
It is noted that LNG is planned to be delivered to the Asia-Pacific region. The resource base of the project is the Sakhalin, Yakutsk and Irkutsk gas production centers, reports Prime.
Gazprom’s website posted a presentation of the Vladivostok LNG project with information that the plant’s first line was planned to be launched in 2018 (with a capacity of 15 million tons, and 1.5 million tons, as said today the representative of the gas monopoly).
